Day 5 Tips: Continue to feed your baby frequently. You may still need to wake your baby for feedings in order to get 8 to 12 feedings in 24 hours. 1. Continue to monitor wet and dirty diapers. 2. Follow your baby’s discharge instructions. Know when to notify your baby’s health care provider and when to seek emergency help. 3. Call the lactation advice line if you have questions: • Atlanta/ Forsyth — 404-303-3329 • Cherokee — 770-224-1970
